Welcome to Gooden Studios
I am the artist, John Gooden, and I sculpt stories. Sometimes those tales are simply the personal history embedded in the images of the people whom I portray. Sometimes the sculpture itself is a window into a moment, a culture, and a wider story. You will find views of sculptures around the State of Oklahoma. Though many of my smaller works are scattered wherever people will take them, the monuments are predominantly in Oklahoma. I am fond of the stories here and the people of this state.
